Web Browser Configuration Help

Back to WebInservice Support
If you are having trouble accessing the system, and you have a valid Learner ID and Password, then the problem may be with the configuration of your web browser. The default settings of all popular browsers will work with EduCodeWEB, but it is possible that your configuration is different. EduCodeWEB doesn't require any special plugins or components. It does need to use a cookie to temporarily store some information that identifies you.

A Cookie??!!
A cookie is a small file that is created and managed by your web browser. Some cookies hang around for awhile, and are called 'persistent' cookies. Web sites use them to keep track of how often you visit, what your preferences are, and things like that. Other cookies, like the ones EduCodeWEB uses are temporary. They only exist as long as you are in the Learning System. They are important because they store information the System needs to handle requests from you.

How can I tell?
The usual indication that cookies are not enabled is that you are able to get to your login page and enter your information, but after the transfer page is displayed, you get an error message.
